Poultry Australia recommends the Starter Package if you're hatching eggs for the first time and you'd like the incubating and brooding equipment sorted in one order.
The Janoel Model 12 is our smallest incubator, so this package suits backyard flocks, a family project, or anyone who wants a manageable number of chicks to look after. Twelve chicken chicks is a comfortable first brood.
If there's a chance you'll want to hatch more than 12 chicken eggs at a time, the Family Package with the Janoel Model 24 is the better choice. It's our most popular package and only $64.00 more.

Orders placed before 4 pm AEST are sent the same business day.
Poultry Australia sends Starter Packages via Australia Post. This means we can deliver to any Australian or New Zealand street address or PO Box. The delivery estimate provided by Australia Post is one to six business days.
Australia Post Express Post is also available at the checkout.
Warranty & Support
Every item in the Starter Package comes with a one-year factory-backed warranty from Poultry Australia. If anything arrives damaged, contact us and we'll arrange a repair or replacement straight away and cover the postage.

No extra incubation or brooding equipment is required. The kit arrives fully assembled with plain-English instructions and a water refilling bottle. You only need to supply your fertile eggs, chick starter feed, bedding, and a small water drinker for your brooder enclosure.
How long does shipping take?
All orders are dispatched from our Australian warehouse via Australia Post. We provide free standard shipping to street addresses and PO Boxes nationwide, with typical transit times between 1 and 6 business days.
