Is the Family Package right for you?
The Family Package is the one we sell most of, and it's built around the Janoel Model 24 — Poultry Australia's best-selling egg incubator since 2013.
It suits families, backyard flock keepers and schools who want a proper hatch of around two dozen chicks rather than a handful. Twenty-four chicken eggs usually gives you a good-sized brood even if not every egg is fertile, and the incubator's large wraparound window means a group of people can gather round and watch the chicks hatch together.
It's also a sensible choice if you're upgrading from a small or basic incubator, or if you're not yet sure how many eggs you'll want to set. If you know you'll only ever hatch a few at a time, the Starter Package is $64.00 cheaper. If you're hatching to grow or replace a flock, look at the Smallholding Package.
When your Family Package arrives
Everything arrives together in one delivery and the Janoel Model 24 comes fully assembled.
The thermostat, fan-forced air circulation and automatic egg turning all work as soon as the incubator is switched on, which helps you achieve an excellent hatch rate whether you've been incubating for years or this is your first attempt. The brooder heat plate just needs its legs screwed in.
The instructions supplied with the Janoel Model 24 are clear and easy to follow, and come with Poultry Australia's own notes on choosing, storing and preparing eggs.

Poultry Australia sends Family Packages via Australia Post. This means we can deliver to any Australian or New Zealand street address or PO Box. The delivery estimate provided by Australia Post is one to six business days.
